As part of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) funding period 2014-2020 of the European Union, the Section for Translational Neurodegeneration "Albrecht Kossel" received a stand autoclave from Systec (GHS-20-0046). This was delivered to the section on July 14, 2021. The device was put into operation by Systec on October 7th, 2021 and instruction was given on site. Since it arrived, the device has been used regularly with an average usage time of approx. 20 h/week:

The reverse translational research projects made possible by the device applied for make a major contribution to the future field of "health/life sciences". The investment is a direct support of the structure-determining area "medical technology and regenerative medicine". The capacity and functionality of the autoclave has been selected in such a way that the institute is well equipped for the future, also with regard to further collaborations with the device.
